Mala Shalyss is the heiress of the Shalyss family legacy. Her family history dating back several generations is filled with careers in assassination, sabotage-for-hire, and espionage. Mala's activities had not raised any suspicion until recently, when her alias became known. Posing as Mala Foxglove, she managed to extract minor classified intelligence through illicit sexual relationships with two members of CONCORD's security personnel in the Jita system. Losses were minimal, and the offending personnel have since been removed from duty, but Mala's intentions and her threat to security remain unknown.

Using the alias Mala Foxglove, she has spent her time frequenting high-class social events and working her way into various social connections, presumably for some form of personal gain. Oddly enough, at the helm of her ships, she helped to gun down pirates and other outlaws. Dishonesty and a disarming smile appear to be her personal trademarks as well as her most lethal weapons, making it difficult to discern where her loyalties lie.
